EXEMINATION OF MEANING AND PURPOSE OF LIFE IN WOMEN LIVING WITH PREMENSTRUAL SYNDROME

Women's coping behaviors with premenstrual syndrome symptoms can be affected by various factors. Among these factors, the meaning and purpose of life is an important health factor associated reducing many negative outcomes. This study was conducted to examine meaning-making tendencies women syndrome. The sample this descriptive-correlational consisted 384 participants. in March-September 2021 within a province located Southeastern Anatolia Region Turkey. data were collected using Descriptive Questionnaire, Premenstrual Syndrome Scale, Meaning Purpose Life Scale. mean Scale scores participants determined as 135.02±25.02 46.77±7.40. effect found effective on decrease (p<0.001). total score explained 21.9% variance dependent variable In order make lives diagnosed more meaningful, it recommended organize multi-sectoral collaborative programs which women's nurses take active role.
